A Brief History
In 1970, Jim Mohrhauser founded Versa Technologies, Inc., a
publicly held corporation
made up of divisions such as Moxness Products, Milwaukee Cylinder, Mox-Med, Inc., and Eder
Industries of Oak Creek. When the corporation was sold, Mr. Mohrhauser purchased its vacated
hangar and began the pursuit of an aviation based business. Jim has more than 50 years
experience in operating corporate aircraft programs and is, himself, a long-time pilot.
Operating under the FAA approved air charter certificate (Part 135), Versa Air
serves the mid-west region from its home base at Batten Field in Racine, Wisconsin.
We have grown into a solid air charter and are committed to offering
the utmost professionalism in the air charter industry. That means to you, the business traveler,
the most efficient and highest level of service in the Midwest.

Your safety is our number one concern.
All of our charter pilots are certified flight instructors, and have
over 10,000 combined hours of flight time with a flawless safety
record. Each pilot is tested annually by the FAA, and is required
to attend regular Flight Safety Training update courses as required
by the FAA.
Pilots are FAA reviewed in all aircraft and subject to random (and routine) medical and drug testing.
Each aircraft requires detailed maintenance and flight log documentation subject to walk-in
inspection by the FAA. In addition, all aircraft must have written, step-by-step procedures for any
possible situation encountered in flight such as landings / take-offs, adverse conditions, etc.
All our aircraft are impeccably maintained and kept in a heated hangar. Maintenance records are available
on request.
